The master plan for this phased seven-year project included the complete exterior and interior architectural renovation and interior design of the entire home – with the goal of connecting and unifying its two separate levels and redesigning all exterior spaces to provide a true California indoor-outdoor lifestyle.

The architectural design organizes and opens the main rooms to a newly landscaped interior courtyard with spa and also to the re-oriented main entry and front patio with views to the nearby Pacific. The interior design reflects the clients’ casual beach lifestyle through the use of materials, colors and textures influenced by the nearby sand, ocean and sky. The minimalist landscape design incorporates all low-maintenance, drought tolerant plants.
